About

Colorado

Colorado State Capitol Colorado is a nature-lover’s paradise. A large part of the state is located within the Rocky Mountains, giving residents access to hiking trails, hunting and fishing areas, and skiing destinations. Colorado is known for its landscapes of mountains, forests, canyons, and rivers.

Aspen is an excellent place for hiking and rock-climbing and is home to several big mountain ski resorts. Aspen also offers music festivals and arts venues.

Another top ski area is Breckenridge, with 2,358 acres (9.5 km2) of skiable terrain and the highest ski lift in North America. There is also excellent fly-fishing along the Blue River.

Denver is the largest city in Colorado and is the capital city of Colorado. Residents have access to several ski resorts and more than 850 miles (1,368 km) of bike trails. Golf is also popular in the area.

Telluride is a small village in the mountains, with excellent skiing opportunities, including heli-skiing from December until April, and beautiful scenery including the tallest free-falling waterfall in Colorado.

The Vail/Beaver Creek area has two of the best ski resorts in North America, according to SKI magazine. Other favorite activities include fishing, hunting, and trail running.

Real estate in Colorado includes condominiums, golf course homes, ski-in/ski-out lodges, lots with mountain views, homes in historic districts and new communities, urban loft apartments, and ranches. Easy access to favorite mountain lifestyles makes houses here excellent real estate investments, whether they are primary residences, income-producing properties, or second homes.
